At Maple Street Biscuit Company, much of our success can be attributed to the strength of our Brand & Marketing Team. To build on our momentum, we're searching for a highly qualified marketing coordinator who can contribute to existing programs while assisting with development of new initiatives aligned with Brand & Operations goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital, and social media. The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Guest Communications- Responds to Guest inquiries, reviews and feedback from social and digital channels.
Guest Feedback Analysis & Reporting- Develops, implements and utilizes tools for analyzing trends in Guest feedback to identify trends. Provides weekly, monthly and quarterly summaries to stakeholders.
Local Marketing Ambassador- Evaluate competitive environment for key/ targeted markets. Develops local store marketing (LSM) campaigns to drive awareness, traffic and sales. Partner & influence local store leaders to effectively execute initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to:
Local collaborate partnerships
Philanthropic partnerships
Local media opportunities (see below)
Local influencer collaborations, both, traditional & social (see below)
Local Media/ Local Public Relations- Identify traditional and digital media outlets to share the Maple Street brand story. Duties would include:
Organizing and coordinating events
Set up media interviews for company executives
Writing and distributing press releases
New Store Openings Support - Support the field teams in ensuring a successful grand opening and beyond. Duties would include:
Coordinating shipments to the stores
Determining giveaways/raffles/incentives for guests around grand opening
Compiling influencer/media lists and establishing contact
Outreach on local Facebook pages as needed
Brainstorming and coordinating any additional opening day/week events
Brand & Marketing General Support- As a key member of the Brand Team, you will support all specialized functional departments to achieve company goals. These will include, but not be limited to:
Assist in conducting research of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, and prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing data.
Support the Brand Team in partnership with Operations & Finance, to assemble sales forecasts, objectives setting, organizing promotions, and updating Leadership.
Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to Operations Team, and provide training/ support materials & outlines to ensure execution excellence.
Maintain inventory of Brand support collateral, partnering with Graphic Designer & Print Partners, to maintain current and accurate materials.
Continually seek new sources of prospective customer data and provide recommendations to sales and marketing leadership.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Experience and Education:

Experience in marketing coordination or similar role.

Knowledge and Skills:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications preferred.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools preferred.
Working knowledge of HTML and design and email software preferred.
Experience in budgeting and forecasting preferred.
Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
Organization and self-management.
Effective written, verbal and presentation skills.

Environment and Working Conditions:

Ability to travel 25% of the year.
Ability to work some nights and weekends, as required.
