Description
The Center for Women and Families is looking for a therapist with the ability to provide brief therapeutic interventions to facilitate individual, group, and family counseling with victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault.
Your developed sense of empathy and critical thinking skills will be instrumental in the success of our mission to help victims of domestic or sexual violence become survivors.
You will engage with our clients to support them in healing through active listening, crisis management, creative problem solving, and connecting them with community referrals and resources to meet their needs.
The Center for Women and Families serves people of all genders and sexual orientation who have experienced domestic or sexual violence.

As such, in your role, you can expect your responsibilities to include:

Providing individual and group therapy sessions that include an initial interview, assessment, and crisis intervention for adults and children.
Maintaining case records and statistics for your clients.
Providing consultation to staff, agency, and community partners as appropriate.
Developing and providing in-service training to agency and community partners.
Participating in case conference, agency meetings, and training.
Maintaining certification/licensure/supervision expectations.

To be a successful candidate, you will have a master's degree from an accredited college/university and a license to practice a mental health discipline under Kentucky laws.
You will also have a valid driver's license and will maintain a driving record that meets the agency's automobile insurance requirements.
Your compensation for the Therapist role will be $41,666.64 - 51,562.46 annually, based on licensure and experience.

Additionally, you will receive a generous paid time off (PTO) bank and will be eligible to contribute to a 401(k) plan that will include an agency match after 1 year.
The Center requires vaccination, but as an alternative, allows for those partially or unvaccinated to test weekly for COVID-19.
The Center requires masks to be worn always.
