Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated

Administrative Support Assistant to join our team. This individual will serve as a crucial resource for office backup as needed. Additionally, the successful candidate will take on the role of a master gardener for our in-school gardening program.
About TES:
Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:
Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time

Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads

Assistance with special projects

Seasonal work

Emergencies

Essential Functions
Essential Functions include but not limited to the following:
Acts as office receptionist: receives and routes telephone calls and visitors; provides and gathers information.

Operates standard office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, fax machines, etc.

Sets up and maintains files and records.

Assists in the distribution of mail.

Master gardener for our in-school gardening program.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma and at least 2 years in administrative support services. Degrees may substitute for years of experience.
