Responsible for the overall integrity of post-closing documentation.

Typical Job Entry Requirements

(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.)

Associates degree and one to two years of business experience or two years related experience.
Previous residential mortgage lending experience (preferred).
Extensive knowledge of PC and various word processing and spreadsheet software programs.
Customer contact experience in a financial service environment preferred.

Primary Activities

Post-Closing Review:
Monitor receipt of closed files from regional branches on a daily basis
Review files for accuracy, completeness, compliance, and underwriting guidelines by completing the Consolidated Closing Checklist
Monitor receipt of all miscellaneous documentation after the file is gone to ensure a compliant and accurate file
Monitor timely receipt of loan files that have gone to processor or loan officer for correction
Daily filing of all received documentation needed to complete file
Final Title Policies:
Assist with clearing final title policies
Assist with the daily logging of finals on system
Assist with the logging of short-form title policies (insured closings)
Researching current portfolio and obtaining or logging final title policies on system
Final Title Policies:
Assist with the filing of title policies and recorded mortgages
Assist with pre-closing reviews
Acts as backup to Disclosure Desk
