Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Shift: Days; 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, occasional Saturday shift

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of current Occupational Therapy experience required
License: Must have applicable state license
Certifications: Required certifications must be uploaded with profile
Must-Have:
• Epic EMR experience
• Ability to work independently
• Own transportation as this is a rural area with no public transport
• Travel experience preferred
• Must be able to work independently as the only staff person during the shift

• Evaluate and treat patients referred to Occupational Therapy by their physician
• Provide supervision to COTA staff in absence of staff Occupational Therapist
• Evaluate all patients referred to Occupational Therapy
• Practice Occupational Therapy consistent with the American Occupational Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice
• Maintain a patient treatment schedule consistent with the needs of the department and the patient
• Prepare and submit department reports, ensuring confidentiality of all records, including evaluation reports, discharge summaries, and current progress notes on all patients within the assigned area
• Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable)
• Holiday rotation required
Additional Information:
• This position requires a firm commitment to transition to a permanent role after the temporary assignment.
• Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at the time of application. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted.
• Local applicants within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered for this temporary position but are invited to apply for a permanent position.
