Description:
The Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Upon arrival, patients are promptly screened by an Emergency Department Nurse.
The nurse determines the severity of the condition and the appropriate course of treatment.
The department is fully staffed around the clock.
Approximately 14,000 patient visits are handled each year.
Weekend and holiday coverage are required as part of the rotation.
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred.
At least 6 months of previous travel experience is required.
