Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Float
Job Specialty: Behavioral Health
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week
Experience:
• 5 years of experience as an RN is required, with recent experience within the last 3 months
• Previous psych/behavioral health experience is required
• Experience with pediatric/child/adolescent psychiatric patients is required
• Experience with different age groups in psychological settings, clearly listed on the resume
License:
• Willing and eligible to obtain necessary licensure
• Driver's license or candidate's address must be included ensuring compliance with distance requirements
Certifications:
• Candidate must be willing to obtain necessary certifications
• CPI certification is offered onsite if not already active
Must-Have:
• Ability to float to different units and take on charge shifts
• Willingness to work every other weekend
• Comfort and experience in working on an adolescents unit
• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver complex nursing care

• Identify patient needs and interventions individually and in groups
• Utilize the nursing process to address complex nursing care requirements
• Provide clinical supervision to ensure safe and therapeutic care delivery
• Work with a co-occurring disorders treatment program offering 24-hour care
• Help patients develop and maintain sobriety while managing co-occurring psychiatric issues
• Participate in medically assisted withdrawal, stabilization, and recovery education
