The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full-time System Administrator, GIS Admin, GS-2210-12 located at Logistics Support Branch, Robins AFB, Warner Robins, GA.

To serve as a systems administrator for AFRC/A4 systems, maintaining multiple Windows and Linux servers while ensuring compliance with current ATO RMFs.
Systems include the AFRC ArcGIS Enterprise; Civil Engineering, Support Agreement, and A4 support systems; Mobile integration Systems; and sUAS imagery processing systems.
Additionally, this position defines information technology efforts and strategies for integration and interoperability of systems across the AFRC/A4 mission spectrum and configures and coordinates approvals for mobile apps for use in iOS and Android systems that support this mission.

• Must be able to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI clearance
• This position is designated by the Air Force as a testing designated position under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program and is subject to random drug testing
• Knowledge of IT systems analysis and applications software concepts, functions, techniques, and capabilities sufficient to evaluate new and emerging IT security methods and principles, the feasibility of proposed new systems and applications software projects; and to design, write, test, debug, and maintain information systems and applications software and ensure successful integration with existing and anticipated infrastructure in the database environment.
• Ability to maintain an up-to-date awareness of technological advances and predict how management can meet future requirements.
• Knowledge of IT management information systems and applications software technology to isolate causes of problems between hardware, system, and applications software programs and to measure system performance and/or extend operating system capabilities to support organizational business processes and operations.
• Knowledge of IT management information systems requirements and application software development techniques required in carrying out project assignments of considerable difficulty and with little specificity regarding approach to be followed.

Desired Experience:


ArcGIS Enterprise, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Server Administration, Mobile Device Management, MS SQL Server Administration, DISA STIGs, Microsoft Server Administration, Linux Server Administration, Mobile (iOS) App Administration.
