Are you an experienced System Administrator seeking a remarkable opportunity? Your search ends here! The Leidos Digital Modernization group has an exciting opening for a System Administrator within the NISC IV Training Group, supporting air traffic control (ATC) simulation training equipment. This role involves overseeing installation, maintenance, and operation of both software and hardware in our Atlanta, GA facility. As a full-time position, it involves daily operations and may require after-hours and weekend support on an on-call basis. The System Administrator is expected to respond to critical incidents within one (1) hour during duty hours (0730-1630) and within six (6) hours during non-duty hours/weekends/holidays. Please note that this position will involve travel ranging from 25% to 40%.

Your Main Objective:
Oversee installation and maintenance of software and hardware, including account management, user privileges, local group policies, software testing, restoration operations, contingency planning, and local backups.
Ensure completion of updates and patches in a timely manner.
Collaborate directly with vendors and users at both site and remote locations to resolve user and network-related issues, maintaining site domain integrity.
Assist in the development and implementation of training scenarios, including training pod management and shipment to FAA facilities.
What Sets You Apart:
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
Able to work autonomously with minimal oversight as well as collaboratively with team members.
Strong analytical and evaluative skills to gather facts, assess information, plan actions, and solve various problems effectively.
Solid understanding of position-related functions, duties, and assisting the FAA and vendor in training development.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, and MS PowerPoint.
You Might Also Have:
Experience supporting the FAA is preferred.
Clearance:
A clearance is not mandatory but the ability to obtain a clearance (i.e., Public Trust) is required if hired.

Pay Range:
$57,850.00 - $104,575.00
