SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII .
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Executing the pre- and/or post-award of contracts related to the maintenance, repair, design, utilities and construction of facilities;
Advising customers on the overall acquisition strategy, procurement regulations, policies, and procedures;
Providing recommendations for resolution on controversial matters and/or participating in negotiations for disputes;
Ensuring all actions are in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations;
Ensuring appropriate funding and required waivers, certifications, approvals and compliances have been obtained for purchase requests;
Negotiating contract prices, terms and conditions;
Performing cost and price analysis;
Developing systems for evaluating and monitoring contractor performance for compliance with terms and conditions of the contract.
