Purpose:
The Staff Physician provides patients with primary care services in a licensed diagnostic and treatment center. Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer and/or the Medical Director Primary Care, the Staff Physician functions as a member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in providing the highest quality of care to the patient.

Detail of Key Job Responsibility Areas
A. Provide primary care to adult patients on-site in clinic with an interdisciplinary approach.
B. Rotating 7-day phone-based call system to include urgent patient communications, ED visits, hospital admissions, panic lab values, etc.
C. Provide consultation regarding general primary care, as needed.
D. Provide primary medical care, including women's health for diverse populations, including patients with HIV, Hep C, & LGBTQ.
A. Precept students, residents, and other medical staff during elective rotations at Trillium Health.
B. Required to obtain 50 or more CME credits per year to remain eligible for medical staff credentialing and commercial insurance crediting.
A. Complete all clinical documentation within 3 days of medical treatment.
B. Complete assigned Ongoing Peer Reviews quarterly.
C. Complete Focused Peer Reviews as assigned.
D. Duties as required (quality assurance, meeting attendance etc.).

Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. Degree and Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and/or Family Medicine. Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Occasionally the employee must stoop, bend and lift or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
