About This Role:
The Evara Health Staff Development Educator plays a pivotal role in delivering dynamic and impactful training sessions tailored to the evolving needs of the Children's Mental Health Initiative (CMHI). These sessions encompass a wide range of essential topics, including Trauma-Informed Care, Adverse Childhood Experiences, Motivational Interviewing, and professional development areas such as Leadership, Collaboration, Time Management, and Conflict Resolution. The ultimate goal is to enhance the skills and capabilities of all stakeholders engaged in CMHI, including Behavioral Health partners, Pinellas County Schools, hospital partners, and others, fostering a collaborative and effective approach to supporting children's mental health.
What You'll Do:
• Co-Chair of the Workforce Committee of CMHI
• Chair of the Workforce Committee's subgroup: ACE Committee
• Facilitates the coordination of training schedules for new hires and ongoing education of Evara Health CMHI team members and, as appropriate, all Evara Health staff
• Develops interactive and engaging training for in-person and online modalities
• Provides Annual ACEs Training to Evara Health and community partners • Facilitates the growth of Evara Health and community partners in being Trauma-Informed
• Develops trainings that support the mission, vision, and growth of CMHI in Pinellas County as identified
• Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works
• Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training, etc.
• Assists stakeholder employers in developing and executing CMHI-related training identified by stakeholders or committees to improve the overall effectiveness of CMHI
• Assesses the effectiveness of topics/courses using various tools (e.g., the Kirkpatrick model) to evaluate participant outcomes and training methods, including the sequence of topics taught
• Administers or implements training-related applications, including the Learning Management System (LMS)
• Tracks and reports on all training data, including the number of participants, number of trainings by topic, evaluation data on training effectiveness, and trainee growth resulting from training
• Develops strong relationships with internal and external customers to create course materials and gather feedback
• Thinks creatively to develop attention-grabbing methods for presenting material and maintaining audience engagement
• Ensures strict adherence to all Evara Health, HIPAA, HRSA, State, Federal, and accreditation agency rules and regulations • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Psychology, Behavioral Health, Education or Social Work; Master's degree preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience working with multi-disciplinary settings providing consultation, training, and education
License, Certifications or Registrations:
Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), preferred
