About us: The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) is responsible for providing services to Oklahomans who are affected by mental illness and substance abuse. Oklahoma consistently ranks highest among states for the number of people incarcerated. For many, untreated mental illness or addiction is the precipitating factor in criminal justice involvement. The Criminal Justice Services division provides support to law enforcement, jails, courts, community-based diversion programs, prison-based services, and re-entry programs to integrate evidence-based interventions targeting the reduction in behavioral health symptoms and criminal recidivism.

About the Position: Provide direct psychiatric services for clients. Assist in planning, organizing, coordinating and directing professional service activities and programs assigned.

Job Type/Salary:

  • Annual Salary $201,932+
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • PIN: 1519
Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Must be licensed to practice Medicine or osteopathy by the State of Oklahoma and be Board Certified.

Special Requirements:
  • Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver's license.
  • Applicants must be able to pass an OSBI background check.
