Senior Mainframe Developer

The role:

As an Sr. Mainframe Developer, you will be part of a team that handles the entire development process of the application, working across multiple functions. While each team member has their own set of abilities, they are also encouraged to learn and chip in to areas outside of their primary expertise.

Location : Columbus, OH (Onsite)
Roles and Responsibilities:

Recommends and implements solutions that address sophisticated business challenges, improving the ability to make data-driven decisions and improving operational efficiency
Prepares architecture and design documents for sophisticated Banking applications keeping in mind design constraints that translate to coding
Develops secure and high-quality code that runs in sync with other highly efficient sub systems
Think out-of-the-box proactively and be creative by challenging conventional approaches and supply towards operational efficiency
Solves problems, works with Product Teams and other collaborators to understand sophisticated Requirements and be able to break them down to design/development.
Qualifications:

Candidate should have expertise in COBOL, JCL, VSAM & DB2.
Expertise in CICS Programming including knowledge of CICS Screen Programming.
Experience coding in MQ Series & IMS DB is preferred
Experience in Banking Compliance and Regulatory Platform is preferred.
Must have hands-on coding development experience.
Experience with version control. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients and excellent problem-solving skills
