This is an office/hybrid position with the ideal candidate located in Louisville, KY.
What the Role Is
The Senior Human Resources Generalist will support HRBP Directors who provide strategic partnership across the organization. This person will develop a deep knowledge of the industry, business, goals, values, and culture to assist in continuously improving solutions that positively shape the employee experience and deliver results. This role will support the HRBP Directors in both strategic and hands-on tasks. This position will foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement by partnering with internal HR resources.
How You Will Spend Your Time?
Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and employment laws; identify risks and engage appropriate HR partners to address.
Manage Employee Relations matters as they arise in a confidential, fair, and solutions-focused manner.
Assist in termination conversations as needed, in alignment with the values of the organization and in compliance with applicable employment laws.
Ensure HR policies and practices are fully understood and implemented within respective work groups.
Partner with Total Rewards to initiate compensation benchmarking
Partner with Talent Acquisition to initiate the open position requisition process
Assist with onboarding of new hires
Own the offboarding process for exiting employees
Process internal transfers/promotions in ADP and prepare supporting employee letters
Responsible for running monthly and ad hoc ADP reports for payroll and HRBP Directors
Run reports to audit PTO and work with payroll as needed to correct errors
Maintain employee records in ADP (domestic and international)
Prepare international employee contracts as needed
Support HRBPs and Total Rewards with mid-year and end-of year processes
Complete year-end data validation/audit
Maintain and update our electronic all employee handbook and respective policies
Assist with New Leader Assimilation facilitation
Assist with team building content creation and facilitation
Special HR projects as needed
Who You Are.

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
Minimum three (3) years of in-depth experience working in a human resources generalist capacity, preferably in a corporate environment
Thrives in a culture of accountability, direct communication and creative problem solving.
Demonstrates high social/emotional intelligence, diplomacy, outstanding judgment, ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Knowledge of current human resources processes, practices, and employment laws and a desire to continue learning in the HR field.
Demonstrated success in establishing credibility with a wide variety of employees and leaders as a trusted HR resource.
High level of professionalism, and ability to balance urgency and decisiveness with patience and compassion, excellent interpersonal and communications skills, executive presence, respect for others, active listening skills, clear verbal and written communication.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; attention to detail; ability to identify root causes of complex issues, analyze data, understand trends, and design actionable solutions across geographies.
Proven ability to effectively facilitate groups with an engaging presentation style.
Deep understanding of rapidly changing environments and cultures; must be confident and able to thrive in ambiguous environments and remain calm under pressure.
Demonstrates a bias for results, a strong work ethic, the ability to manage competing priorities and a desire to achieve excellence.
Valued but not Required Skills and Experience:

Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Distilled spirits industry experience
SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification
Physical Requirements
While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, and use of computer; reach with hands and arms. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
