Maternal Fetal Consultants (MFC) is in Edina and is open Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm. This is a casual role to help with coverage.
Maternal Fetal Consultants is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential Functions:
Performs high quality and accurate diagnostic fetal ultrasounds and fetal echocardiograms
Interacts with patients, physicians and team members in a courteous and professional manner
Maintains ultrasound equipment in optimum working condition.
Applies knowledge of protocols and procedures
Utilizes equipment properly to maximize safety in the work environment.
Selects specific equipment for use in ultrasound setup according to specifications of examination, and specific needs of patients
Completes preliminary report of findings and presents information to the physician
Any and all other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited School of Medical Sonography or equivalent; plus additional training and experience working in a Maternal Fetal Medicine setting is crucial.
Advanced certifications in Fetal Nuchal translucency and Fetal Echocardiogram strongly preferred.
Must be registered or registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
