- Work 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled during the day from Monday to Friday.- Responsible for providing medical social work services in your assigned unit and possibly floating to other units depending on staffing needs.- Participate in department orientation at the designated location and follow the instructions provided in the welcome letter for orientation scheduling.- Complete approximately 20 hours of orientation.- Be prepared for the possibility of weekend rotations and some holiday assignments, depending on unit requirements.- Submit two professional references upon application submission.- Be open to traveling and willing to float as necessary for staffing requirements.- Follow compliance regulations and be prepared for a review of any time off requests.
Normally, no more than two weeks off is allowed in a contract.- Orientation typically occurs every other week and may not start on a Monday, depending on department-specific schedules.
