The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for delivering high quality (subsystems of) products, by meeting user and business requirements, managing complexity, technical leadership, and stakeholder management.
Your role:
Overall technical leadership and responsibility for realization of full systems product release/life cycle management to ensure quality and compliance.
Translation of user and business requirements into product requirements, high level product design, check and optimize integration and verification.
System decomposition and allocation of derived requirements down to Hardware/Software element and part level and related traceability.
Trade-off of product/system design specifications and interfaces, determine feasibility of potential solutions, and leading technical & design reviews.
Ensuring full Product Safety Risk Management in a regulation compliant manner.
You're the right fit if:
You've acquired 5+ years of relevant experience in professional engineering with demonstrated technical leadership skills (medical device industry strongly preferred). Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools/methodology strongly preferred.
Your skills include ability to manage complexity, drive results, and persuade stakeholders effectively in the interest of patient safety and quality. You are experienced with relevant medical device industry standards (ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 62366, FDA GMP, etc.)
You have a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering and/or business discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
You're an excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills related to the systems engineering discipline. Ability to influence and lead work groups is desired.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position is $135,975 to $233,100, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
