A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Spark to lead and strengthen their financial services engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of software engineers to deliver business value and remove impediments
Define and manage priorities and technical strategies for modernization and operational standards
Mentor team members and ensure alignment with corporate priorities through collaboration with stakeholders
Required Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with object-oriented languages, preferably Java or Scala
5+ years of experience using Spark, EMR, Glue, or other serverless compute technology in the Cloud
5+ years of experience architecting and enhancing data platforms and service-oriented architectures
2+ years of team leadership experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
