Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA
The role requires to support CAD design and building prototypes to suit team needs and the primary database is in NX.
Job description
• Work in cross-functional team with multiple engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, firmware, etc.) to design, document, and test wrist worn devices for a - research team.
• Participate in designing and building smartwatch prototypes to test future wearable technologies.
• Primary database is in NX for CAD.
Skills
• Strong mechanical design skills in CAD.
• Strong documentation skills in CAD.
• Strong organization skills for maintaining detailed design histories.
• Knowledge of NX database of ability to start using NX quickly.
Knowledge
• NX mechanical CAD experience preferred, strong drawing creation skills.
• Familiarity with silicone molding, textiles.
• Familiarity with mechanical designs with PCBAs, flex designs.
• Familiarity with haptic devices is a plus.
• Experience with designing CAD designs around miniature electronics PCBAs and sensors for consumer products.
