ABOUT THIS ROLE
The

Senior Manager, Accounts Payable

on the Apex Finance team is responsible for managing invoice processing and vendor account analysis for the firm. This role interacts with several Apex teams, including General Ledger Accounting, Treasury, Operations, Compliance, and Technology. The Senior Manager must be a critical thinker, analytical, energetic, and possess strong attention to detail.
Duties/Responsibilities

Manage a team responsible for Accounts Payable and travel & expense (T&E) expenditures
Manage the timely matching of invoices with purchase orders
Ensure all payables have proper approvals according to corporate policy
Manage the review T&E expense reports for accuracy and corporate policy adherence
Supervise the research of vendor inquires and respond to vendors
Review payment reports for weekly vendor payments
Assist with other accounting duties and special projects as needed
Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) required
CPA or equivalent certification preferred
8+ years of prior experience; 3+ years as a people manager
Experience with full cycle AP, month-end close, and account analysis
Experience using NetSuite accounting system preferred
Required Skills/Abilities

Intermediate Excel abilities
Strong analytical ability and perseverance to solve problems with minimal oversight
Ability to professionally interact with onsite staff and management
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering voucher information
Must be able to handle multiple tasks within an established timeline
Must be a team player and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with 2-way and 3-way matching preferred

Salary Range
$89,600-$112,000
The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
