Conviva is a subsidiary of Humana, seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Administrative Assistant. In this role you will be required to follow established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective secretarial support to an office, business unit, department, or other organization. Answers telephones, screens calls, and takes messages so callers/visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately. The Senior Administrative Assistant performs advanced administrative, operational, and customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. May apply intermediate mathematical skills.
Job Functions
The Senior Administrative Assistant transcribes, types, formats, and proofreads a variety of material (e. g. , correspondence, invoices, contracts, meeting minutes, reports, speeches, and presentations) using word processing, presentation, graphics and spreadsheet software.
Coordinates internal and external meetings which may involve scheduling meeting times, making travel arrangements for attendees, and ensuring that various meeting amenities are available.
Manages the appointments and schedules of applicable staff.
Uses office equipment such as photocopiers, faxes, and printers.
Additional responsibilities may include distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, filing, maintaining office supplies or other inventory.
Decisions are typically focus on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge.

Required Qualifications
2+ years' experience as administrative support in a corporate environment.
2+ years' experience supporting someone in a leadership role.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, preferably with experience creating newsletters
Capacity to maintain confidentiality
Ability to balance multiple initiatives and prioritize workload
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.
Experience with internet research and proof-reading/editing
SharePoint site management
Working hours
: Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM
Additional Information
This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$51,800 - $71,200 per year
