The Role: Securities Litigation Associate | Washington, D.C. We are seeking a skilled and driven Securities Litigation Associate to join one of our prestigious clients. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful legal matters in a collaborative and innovative environment.
In this position, you will:
Represent issuers, directors, and officers in securities class actions, derivative suits, merger litigation, and other civil actions arising from securities-related disputes.
Manage internal investigations related to accounting fraud, whistleblower claims, and violations of anti-bribery laws, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
Defend clients during DOJ and SEC investigations and regulatory proceedings.
Collaborate with audit and special committees to navigate complex internal investigations.

Ideal Candidate Profile We're looking for candidates who bring:
Experience: At least 4 years of securities litigation experience, including class actions, regulatory proceedings, and internal investigations.
Credentials: JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in Washington, D.C., or eligibility to waive in.
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of securities law, corporate governance, and investigatory processes.
Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Leadership: Ability to mentor junior team members and lead casework.
Collaboration: A team-oriented approach with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including audit committees and regulators.
