Overview This position is responsible for the general cleaning of the corporate office and Assembly facility.
Duties may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing, and trash removal.
Position will be required to perform various janitorial or cleaning related projects as needed.
Schedule will require night and weekend work.
Responsibilities Complete daily assigned tasks to maintain orderly condition and cleanliness of the corporate building and Hangar facility.
Duties may include, but are not limited to, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping down and sanitizing surfaces, and removing trash.
Will work with minimal supervision and must complete all assigned tasks as scheduled in a safe and efficient manner.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and maintain stock of supplies.
Clean and sanitize break room and office areas.
Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special cleaning related projects.
Projects may include, but are not limited to, organizing, cleaning out assigned areas, and maintaining indoor plants.
Stock and maintain supply areas.
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repair which may pertain to building, furniture, equipment, cleaning supplies, etc.
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
QualificationsSkills and Abilities Ability to operate small power or hand tools.
Ability to read and understand cleaning labels.
Basic computer skills are not required.
Demonstrated Competencies Must be self-motivated, work independently, and able to stay on task.
Must be able to follow simple written and verbal instructions.
Effectively communicate to manager status of work, problem areas, and other matters of importance or consideration.
Ability to communicate clearly and follow simple directions.
Must have regular and punctual attendance.
Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 60 lbs.
This position requires walking, standing, twisting, reaching, bending, climbing, and lifting.
Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Experience:
Previous janitorial experience is advantageous, but not required.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent, or verifiable ability to perform essential job functions.
