Job Summary
Under the direction of the lab manager and medical director, the Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer performs most cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams.Are you a Cardiovascular (CV) Sonographer interested in both Acute and Ambulatory care?

CV Sonographers must have ARDMS (RVT and AE and/or PE) or CCI (RVS and RCS) certifications.

Minimum Requirements
Associate's Degree -Graduate of a formal sonography program
1 year - cardiac and vascular sonography experience performing non-invasive lab studies.
Will consider clinical rotations during a formal educational program as experience.
In Lieu Of
In Lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, will consider 5 years of dedicated cardiovascular lab experience.
In Lieu Of the Educational requirements above, completion of a Director approved sonography program will be considered.
Team members in this job as of 11/08/2020 are grandfathered from the minimum requirements listed above pending state and regulatory requirements.
Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
Registered in vascular technology (ARDMS-RVT or CCI-RVS).
Registered in echocardiography (ARDMS-AE and/or ARDMS-PE or CCI-RCS)
BLS
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Medical terminology preferred
