Sodexo has an opportunity for a Dietitian Nutritionist I -HC at a 120-bed hospital. Summerville Medical Center provides bariatric services, mother baby care, Level 3 NICU care, a pediatric unit and pediatric ICU, adult ICU and progressive care unit, and medical surgical care.

The successful candidate will:

Primarily cover inpatient adult acute care, but will cross-train to provide coverage
Work rotating weekends and holidays, providing hospital wide coverage.
0-3 years of experience
Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays.
Educate health care team members, including residents, physicians, nurses and food service staff.
Precept dietetic interns.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in SC (required prior to starting in this role).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as good time management skills.
A track record of proactive interaction with the medical team and be an outstanding team player with strong demonstrated leadership skills.
Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records is also a plus.
