The Psychiatric Registered Nurse will provide exceptional clinical expertise to guarantee high-quality care for all patients. We are a supportive team, passionate about delivering excellent patient care.
What you will do in this role:
Enhance nursing care through process improvements and teamwork that yields positive patient outcomes.
Oversee the flow of patients, including screening, preparing for examinations, and coordinating care.
Educate patients and families on medications and treatment plans.
Maintain accurate patient records, including test results and examination notes.
Administer medications in accordance with physician directives.
Consider patient age-specific needs and cultural diversity when creating care plans.
What Qualifications you will need:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's Degree or higher.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse; Compact/Multi-State RN license is acceptable.
A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or American Red Cross.
1-3 years of nursing experience preferred.
Behavioral Health experience is an advantage.
CPI certification must be completed within 90 days of hire.
