The Levy Group of Companies is seeking an Electrician to work at our Charleston Mill Services location in Huger, SC. The Electrician performs all functions related to the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems on mobile equipment. Required to work on high voltage, AC and DC equipment.

Pay: $29-37/HR based on experience

Shift/Schedule: Day Shift, Monday thru Friday 7 am - 5 pm

Responsibilities
The Electrician will:

Operate and inspects electrical system and components to diagnose defects and malfunctions
Repair and maintains electrical systems and components
Replace faulty electrical components including relays and switches
Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning
Maintain and programs PLC's for automated machinery
Requisition parts and equipment
Maintains records and reporting
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Skills
The ideal candidate will have:

Three to five years of experience as a certified electrician in a heavy industrial environment
Knowledge of all electrical codes ( NEW, NEMA, FLIA, OSHA, etc.)
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
Knowledge of PLC (programmable logic controllers)
Knowledge of heavy-duty drivers including AC and DC motors
Strong math skills
Ability to read and write
High School diploma or equivalent
