Here at China Jushi USA we are seeking qualified candidates for our hourly production team member positions in our Columbia, South Carolina manufacturing facility. As an hourly production team member, you will need to work in a fast paced, high-speed environment, following standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.

Job purpose

The Winding Technician is responsible for ensuring a proficient flow of Fiberglass production with quality and safety at the forefront every day; which includes winding and storage of fibrous material. Please note that this position is physically demanding and has Fiberglass Exposure.Duties and responsibilities

Handling and transportation of Fiberglass bobbins from the production line to dedicated storage areas.
Administer required daily maintenance on assigned lines.
Identify and solve problems in fabrication process without compromising quality of product.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1-year Manufacturing experience
Must work well in a team environment.
Able to multi-task.
Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Self-motivated to work independently with high regards to quality of product.

Individuals with a criminal record are encouraged to apply!Compensation: Starting pay is $17.75 then $18.25 after the first 90 days along with bonus eligibility.

Schedule:

This position operates on a 12-Hour shift which rotates every 4 weeks from Days to Nights OR Nights to Days.

Probationary Period:

Please note that all new hires are subject to a Probation Period for the first 90-days of employment.

Working conditions

Must be able to lift 50+ Pounds consistently for 12-Hours.
Must be able to work around extreme heat safely.
Must be able to work in a wet environment safely.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to work around and operate machinery safely.

Physical requirements

Must be able to work 12-Hour rotating shifts (Swing Shift) (From 6:30 - 7:00 AM-PM or PM-AM).
Must be able to stand for long periods of time in a fast-paced environment.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the work environment.
Must be able to bend repeatedly.
