Job Title: Registered Nurse

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift every 2 weeks
Experience: 1+ year of ICU and IICU stepdown experience
License: Active RN License
Certifications: Critical Care, Epic experience required
Must-Have:
• Experience with trauma-related injuries such as head injuries, spinal cord injuries, and surgical care common to the unit
• Experience in a large teaching hospital
• Ventilator experience
• EPIC EMR experience
• Provide care in a Stepdown unit with a patient ratio of at least 1:3
• Average Daily Census of 20 in a 21-bed unit
• Work with staffing ratios of 7 RNs, maintaining a 3:1 maximum ratio
• All assignments require floating to other units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns, limited to tasks for which competencies have already been demonstrated and documented
• Complete pre-assignment testing and modules, with eligibility for reimbursement for hours spent completing modules, up to 16 hours
• Participate in orientation every Monday for 16 hours
• Comply with flu vaccine requirements with no exemptions
• Please note: Main qualifications include a minimum of 1 year of recent ICU/ IICU stepdown experience and epic experience is required.*
