We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at Prisma Health.
In this critical care nursing role, you will provide direct patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients in an acute inpatient setting.
You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and protocols.
Additionally, you will identify patient priorities and incorporate them into the nursing process, adhering to all compliance and policy procedures of the organization.
Patient Assessment and Plan Development: Collects data, completes nursing assessments, and develops individualized patient care plans based on age-specific standards and policies.
Nursing Priorities and Goal Setting: Identifies realistic and measurable goals and outcomes, collaborating with healthcare teams to validate priorities and communicate changes in the plan.
Evaluation and Quality Improvement: Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care plans, documents progress, and revises plans as needed, incorporating performance improvement recommendations.
Care Coordination and Advocacy: Serves as the patient's advocate, coordinating care with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
An Associate's Degree in Nursing is required, with a BSN preferred.
A minimum of one year of experience as a registered nurse is required.
Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina is essential.
$62,000 - $82,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
