Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Unit Specific Information Histotechnologist - Under direct supervision performs routine and complex histologic procedures including, processing, embedding, microtomy, routine and special stains, and immunohistochemistry.
Performs quality control on completed slides.
Identifies problems that may affect diagnosis and results.
Records observations from tests.
Documents maintenance of instruments and equipment used in the lab.
Complies with established laboratory policies and procedures.
Additional Details Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate
RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on department's/manager's needs.
