Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join a great law firm in Charleston, SC. The Litigation Paralegal will support the Labor and Employment Practice Group. This opportunity is direct hire, on-site in Charleston, and full time.

Essential Job Functions:

Prepare and manage electronic filing of pleadings and discovery in federal and state court cases
Assist in preparing documents for administrative matters
Analyze, review, and organize documents and data produced during discovery
Prepare document production, responses to discovery requests, and deposition summaries
Prepare records and deposition subpoenas
Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Familiarity with State and Federal Courts, including filing procedures
Experienced in electronic document discovery and database management
Knowledgeable in discovery tasks and trial preparation
Proficient in litigation software (Doculex, Concordance, Casemap, and Sanction)

Educational and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
Paralegal certification preferred
Minimum of three years' of experience as a Litigation Paralegal
