Are you a Data Scientist looking for a place where you can make an impact every day? Serco is engaging in an exciting opportunity to support system design, engineering, hardening, implementation, and operations ofInformation Technology Systems (ITS) at enterprise and local levels across various government organizations. Our goal is toleverage newer technologies or concepts such as Artificial Intelligence (AI)/ Machine Learning (ML), Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and Agile to improve efficiencies and security of ITS.Based out of Charleston, SC you could be part of our Defense team supporting NIWC Atlantic Information Technology and Operations Technology systems.
We are looking for Security Engineers to be part of our Defense team supporting NIWC Atlantic Information Technology and Operations Technology systems in the following locations:
Norfolk, VA
Charleston, SC
Washington, DC
NIWC Atlantic is an Echelon III organization whose mission is to develop, acquire, modernize, deliver, and support integrated and interoperable Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), Business IT and Space capabilities in the interest of national defense.
NIWC Atlantic cybersecurity, engineering, deployment, and integration encompasses scientific and engineering activities that support, protect, and defend information and information systems (IS) by ensuring their availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation.
In this role, you will:
Identify business trends and problems through complex big data analysis
Interpret results from multiple sources using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
High school diploma/GED with 6+ years' of related experience
Current DoD 8570 IAT level II compliant certification
An active DoD Secret security clearance
