Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (preferred), TNCC (strongly preferred)
Must-Have: General emergency department nursing skills including assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education.
• Work in a 65-bed, pod-based emergency department with specialized pediatric and acute mental health areas.
• Maintain a clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:4.
• Handle a diverse patient population with approximately 230 visits per day.
• Utilize EPIC ASAP for electronic medical records and charting.
• Be flexible with rotating shifts when requested; however, the night position does not require rotation.
• Floating required within the department.
• Contribute to a team that values professional growth and patient-centered care.
