The Registered Nurse delivers professional nursing care to the patient whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. Establishes a helping relationship using a holistic approach. The RN ensures quality and appropriateness of care for all age groups in the unit-specific patient population to include neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Performance consistently meets expectations in all essential areas of responsibility, and at times exceeds expectations. It is performance normally expected of those who have the necessary education, training and relevant experience to enable them to effectively perform in a consistently reliable and professional manner.

Performs an accurate patient assessment on assigned patients in accordance with physician instructions and established policies and procedures for the facility.
Demonstrates an ability to identify changes in patient condition and appropriately notifies the physician.
Based on information gathered demonstrates an ability to accurately identify the nursing diagnosis specific for each patient.
Demonstrates knowledge of medical diagnosis and how the disease entity is manifested in the patient including interpretations of clinical and laboratory data and/or symptomatology that should be monitored in the patient.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Graduate nurse of an accredited school of nursing - BSN or ASN.
CA RN License.
MAB/CPI, ACLS, NIHSS, and BLS. The BLS and ACLS must be completed by the American Heart Association.
Telemetry Experience Required.
