As a Radiology Tech at Dayton Children's Hospital, you will be encouraged to:
\tOperate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
\tEnsure the safety and care of our patients during radiographic procedures.
\tStrive to meet departmental goals concerning patient satisfaction, patient registration accuracy standards, and Cardiology EKG QA/QC.
\tCollaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to successfully implement patient care plans.
\tMaintain accurate patient records and document procedures strictly adhering to hospital protocols.
\tRecognize and advocate for each patient being an individual with specific healthcare needs and provide detailed, respectful care affirming the patient's right to make decisions regarding their medical care.
\tPrepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging by following proven techniques.
\tProvide compassionate support and clear instructions to patients and their families.
\tContinuously monitor and adjust radiologic equipment to ensure efficient performance.
\tParticipate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with advancements in radiologic technology.
\tAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
\tA dedication to providing compassionate, family-centered care.
