Akkodis is seeking an Associate Software Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Providence, RI (Remote). Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, guiding best practices, and integrating third-party applications.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $35/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Associate Software Engineer job responsibilities include:

Designing, developing, and implementing scalable and secure Power Platform solutions to meet business requirements.
Acting as the subject matter expert for Power Platform, guiding team members and stakeholders on best practices.
Collaborating with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to understand and document technical and functional requirements.
Developing and maintaining technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and design artifacts.
Integrating Power Platform solutions with third-party systems and platforms using RESTful APIs and other integration tools.
Ensuring solutions are monitored, supported, and built for high availability.
Staying current with new Power Platform features and capabilities, recommending their use as appropriate.
Mentoring junior team members on Power Platform development and best practices.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3-5 years of experience in Power Platform solution development.
Strong proficiency with Power Apps (canvas and model-driven apps), Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
Expertise in integrating Power Platform with other systems and platforms, including experience with RESTful APIs, PowerShell, and PowerFx.
