(US), HybridPosition SummaryThales BPS manufacturing controlling team requires a pro-active & hands on Assistant Controller who will assist with financial and budget activities.
This is a hybrid position.Key Areas of Responsibility General accountingReview and validate cost center coding.Assist with Variance analysis and comments.
Contribute to accuracy of financial data.Month End ClosePreparation of Journal entries and accruals.Account reconciliations.Inventory analysis.
ReportingAssist with P&L templates and communication.KPI's reports for plant management.Support with cost analysis.
Budgeting and forecastingAssist in compiling annual budget plan.Supporting financial forecasts and planning cycles.Other duties as required.Work closely with Plant Manager and Management team.Special projects that support other areas of the business.Update corporate templates on SharePoint.Facilitate Stock counts/Asset verification.Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications & Experience - Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & 1-3 years accounting experience.Abilities - Analytical, problem solving, attention to detail, time management, work under deadlines.Interpersonal Skills - Excellent communication, team player, integrity.Knowledge - Accounting principles, MS Office, understanding of ERP System, experience in Oracle an asset, Power BI.Occasional travel required.If you're excited about working with Thales, but not meeting the requirements for this position, we encourage you to join our Talent Community!Special Position RequirementsSchedule:
