Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region's only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai'i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.

The Cardiology professionals at Straub provide a comprehensive array of heart and vascular services for every stage of life. Our award-winning cardiac care is recognized as among the nation's best, having brought many new technologies and lifesaving interventions to Hawai'i. At our state-of-the-art facilities, professional medical staff assist patients with Treadmill Stress Testing to monitor and diagnose heart health, blood pressure, EKG and exhaustion levels.

As the Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide professional and compassionate nursing services at Straub through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care in our Cardiac Services and Treadmill testing department. You will also function as an associate to a charge nurse and begin to assume charge nurse responsibilities with time. We are looking for someone with excellent patient care and communication skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai'i Registered Nurse License. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. One (1) year recent ambulatory care Registered Nurse experience in Cardiology.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field. Two (2) years recent ambulatory care Registered Nurse experience in clinic procedural areas. Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CPR cards.
