- Cardiac Telemetry experience is a must- Skills in IV Start and Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, and Management of dysrhythmias
- The unit is seeking experienced nurses capable of handling a 1:
6 ratio, with an average daily patient census of 23.- Floating to other units based on skills and census is required.- 8 weekend shifts are required within the duration of the contract.- Patient diagnoses include Cardiac Arrhythmias, MI, ACS, Diabetes uncontrolled, DKA, Heart Failure, and post-procedure care for heart catheterization, PPM, and ICD.- Nurses must proficiently handle cardiac drips without titrating for blood pressure.- The unit requires nurses who show strong teamwork skills due to the absence of charge nurses.- The unit systems include PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR.- Orientation consists of 3 days; the first day focuses on EPIC training, followed by two days on the unit.- The position does not support requests for time off during the Christmas week and restricts additional RTO which may impact the contract.- EKG testing is required before the start date for this specialty.- Adherence to the fatigue policy is mandatory, preventing more than 5 consecutive working days or over 60 hours in one week.- Flu vaccine is required, with medical and religious exemptions only.- Completion of non-billable modules is required before the start and annually, via online and in-person training

Teamwork is essential; the nurse must be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
