Experience: Minimum of 5 years in SICU/CVICU
License: Pending licenses accepted
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (prior to start)
Must-Have:
• Experience in ECMO, IABP, IMPELLA, Swan Ganz Catheter, PA Catheter, CRRT
• Experience with post-op surgical patients, including transplants
• Nicotine-free (negative 10 Panel + Nicotine drug screen required)
• Provide specialized nursing care in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU).
• Float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Participate in an orientation consisting of 16 hours.
• Complete EKG and Pharmacology tests during orientation with a maximum of two attempts.
• Adhere to time-sensitive module completion once confirmed for an assignment.
• Follow all facility protocols, including a strict no-contact policy.
• Attend a short-term acute care teaching facility.
• Wear white scrubs and utilize EPIC for charting.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccine requirements; medical/religious exemptions accepted.
• Comply with flu vaccine requirements; medical/religious exemptions accepted.
• Provide two references from a direct supervisor/manager, assistant nurse manager, or director.
