Required Skills • IV insertion • Blood draws • PICC/Central Line management: • Dialysis Fistula: assess for thrill and bruit • Obtain 12 lead EKG • Sheath removal -or management of patient post removal • Epicardial pacer management • CPAP/BiPAP • Trach Care • Epidural/PCA pump- mainly PCA pump • Feeding tubes • Continuous bladder irrigation • Wound vac -care for patient, maintain Other skills needed?: manage arterial and venous sheaths post cath/ablation/PCI; TR-band post procedure; vapotherm; manage patients with Chest Tubes and TPW (transcutaneous / epicardial pacing wires
