JOB SUMMARY:

The Avera Heart Hospital of South Dakota specializes in the care of the full spectrum of cardiac and vascular patients.

Robust paid residency: Bedside nursing preceptorship with 4-5 week multidisciplinary rotation with opportunities in OR, Cath Lab, Cardiac Rehab, Outpatient Procedure and ER

Provide cutting edge Cardiac and medical surgical care with manageable nurse to patient ratios of 1 to 3-4

Perform assessments, develop plans of care, implement and evaluate care

Nurses are a member of a collaborative team to assure the safe and accurate delivery of care.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Graduate of nursing program in May 2025

Previous healthcare experience preferred

CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:

Eligible after taking the NCLEX for licensing as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.

BLS and ACLS preferred-will be provided if not present on hire

Certification encouraged-may be eligible for hourly differential

The hourly range for this position is $31.00-$46.50. Actual hourly rate is dependent on experience.
