We are looking for a bilingual Registered Nurse to join our very busy orthopedic practices in Metairie. The ideal candidate willhave an excellent work ethic, enjoy multi-tasking and staying organized. Great attention to detail and clearcommunication with patients are essential.

Responsibilities

:
Maintaining accurate, complete health care records andreports
Oversee the patient care experience from pre-op to follow-up
Manage patient education, medical clearances, clinic preparationsand functions
Translate for Spanish speaking patients
Administer medications to patients and monitoring them forside effects and reactions
Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments
Recording patient vital signs and medical information
Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes inpatient conditions
Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patientnursing care plans
Requirements:

Bachelor degree or mastersdegree in nursing
Pass the National CouncilLicensure Examination
Current state licensure as a registerednurse and BLS certification required
Must be ACLS certified
Must have excellent IV skills
Must be competent in workingautonomously as a charge nurse and directing others
Must meet physicalrequirements of being able to push, pull and lift patients when needed.
Willing to travel to Baton Rougeis a plus. Spanish speaking is a required. Experience with E clinical works is a plus.
Experience:

Must have aminimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience. Fast pace setting such as Emergency Room orPre-op a plus.
