Job Title: Registered Nurse

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hour options

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of prior Telemetry experience required in a large, urban hospital

License: Nebraska RN License (pending license accepted but must be obtained within six weeks)

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH

Must-Have: EPIC charting experience, 100% nicotine-free (facility policy), willingness to float within scope as needed


• Work in a 36-bed medical surgical/telemetry unit with a focus on orthopedic patients and additional specialties including surgical oncology, general surgery, gynecologic surgery, and oral maxillofacial surgery.
• Accommodate telemetry monitoring with patient ratios of 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night (occasional 1:7 on nights).
• Administer drips on the floor.
• Travelers must have at least 2 years of experience in a Level l Academic Medical Center for first-timer consideration.
• Will be required to float to another campus within the facility if needed.
• Attend mandatory orientation including a charting class.
• Comply with weekend requirements: two weekends in a four-week schedule period (Friday/Saturday for night shift).
• Nurses wear mandatory Steele gray scrubs with branding, and additional gray T-shirts are available for purchase.
• RTO restrictions: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted, to be submitted with the application.
• Complete compliance documents by the deadline and attend necessary labs within the specified time after offer acceptance.
