ACLS, BLS, and NIH Must-Have:
- Skills in Telemetry, MedSurg/IMC
- Work with MedSurg patients within the Intermediate Care (IMC) unit.- Handle a patient ratio of 1:
4 in the IMC unit.- Consideration given to strong Telemetry RNs for MS patients in the IMC unit.- Weekend and holiday coverage is expected.- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.- Must wear Navy Blue scrubs (not provided).- Ability to work in a short-term acute care facility setting.- Experience in a teaching hospital environment.- Comfortable using Cerner for charting.- Required to have Flu vaccination (no exemptions).- No COVID-19 vaccine required.- Completion of required modules before and during orientation.- 28 hours of orientation, with half of these hours non-billable.
