Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Medical Surgical - Oncology
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Guaranteed Hours: Flexible contracts available (36 or 48 hours)
Experience: Minimum 1 year required; 2 years preferred in Med/Surg
License: Michigan RN License (pending license acceptable, must provide estimated time of arrival)
Certifications: Basic Life Support (AHA) - pending acceptable if willing to obtain
Must-Have:
• Minimum 1-year experience in Med/Surg
• Willingness to work with a variety of staff (e.g., RN, LPN, Techs)
• Availability for the entire week of orientation

• Attend 8 hours of non-billable orientation.
• Will float to other Med/Surg units depending on hospital needs.
• Work every other weekend.
• Cannot guarantee block scheduling.
• Staffing ratio is typically 1:5-6 for nights. May flex to 8 patients, with LPN support if needed.
• Work with various patient types including ortho/neurovascular, cardio/pulmonary, and surgical patients (GI, urology, hysterectomies, mastectomies).
• Floating to different units may occur approximately once per week.
• Holidays are usually required, and holiday time-off requests may not be guaranteed.
• Flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions only.
• Modules must be completed during orientation and then annually.
Ensure to complete any necessary lab work within 48-72 hours of contract signing. If opting for flu vaccine exemption, submit within 48 hours of contract signing. References and proof of flu vaccination required upon application submission.
