Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Night Shift

Job Summary

Qualifications
Education:

2-year Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution is required; a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is preferred.
Certifications:

Current Georgia RN license required; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
General Skills
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal abilities and customer relations skills.
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal directives.
Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
Physical Requirements
Near normal vision, with clarity both near and far, and color distinction capability.
Ability to demonstrate good manual dexterity and eye-hand-foot coordination.

Standing: Continuously during the shift (67-100%).
Walking: Frequently during the shift (34-66%).
Sitting: Occasionally during the shift (1-33%).
Climbing: Occasionally during the shift (1-33%).
Bending/Stooping: Frequently during the shift (34-66%).
Twisting at the waist: Occasionally during the shift (1-33%).
Pushing/Pulling: Frequently during the shift (34-66%).
