- Responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.- Coordinate all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards.- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.- Contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques.- Collect and analyze patient health data to determine patient problems.- Identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient.- Develop a comprehensive plan of care with prescribed interventions to attain expected outcomes.- Implement interventions identified in the plan of care.- Evaluate patient progress toward the attainment of outcomes.- Assist with the plan of care, evaluate, modify, and coordinate care, ensuring effective communication with other disciplines.- Delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel in compliance with the Board of Nursing.- Conduct discharge planning and assist patients/significant others with knowledge about illness and injury prevention.- Maintain confidentiality with all information.- Perform any and all other duties as assigned.- Modules are completed onsite during orientation, averaging RN 4-6 hours.- Participate in brief orientation on various units as needed based on facility needs.
